About

Covenant Protective & Response Group was founded by Tim Robertson, a U.S. Navy veteran and law enforcement officer with nearly a decade of service in patrol, courthouse security, and community protection. Over the course of his career, Tim has seen firsthand how quickly violence can enter schools, churches, and public spaces — places that should always be safe havens.

Too often, faith-based institutions are left vulnerable, relying on limited resources or generic security services that don’t fully understand their unique needs. Covenant Protective was created to close that gap — offering a security model built on experience, preparation, and a faith-driven commitment to protecting communities.

Tim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Purdue University Global and is a graduate of both the Louisiana Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Academy and the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Training Academy. His specialized training includes:

  • Crisis Intervention Training (CIT): 80 hours of instruction in de-escalation and mental health crisis response across Virginia and Louisiana.

  • High-Threat Response Training: Integrated work with law enforcement, EMS, and fire for coordinated emergency response.

  • Emergency Medical Readiness: TECC, CPR, and AED training to provide immediate, life-saving care when seconds matter.

At Covenant Protective, our philosophy is simple: safety should never come at the cost of a school’s or church’s welcoming environment. We believe in being a visible presence when needed, a steady reassurance when possible, and a trusted protector always.
